Our Spring Lunch is coming up and this year we're celebrating the amazing ways Italian food can be enjoyed with our Box Grove Vineyard wines.
Francesco and Luca from Melbourne’s Trattoria Emilia are our guest chefs for 2016. For many years they cooked at the Tea Rooms of Yark, using the skills they honed in Emilia-Romagna in Northern Italy with fresh local produce from the Mansfield region. Along the way, they earned two hats in The Age Good Food Guide. Many of you will remember calling in there on the way back from the snow or enjoying a long leisurely lunch one Sunday afternoon.
Coming to cook at the Box Grove Osteria is for them, like coming home. They are excited by all the produce in the vineyard vegetable garden and orange grove, and have planned a delicious four-course meal to match our range of wines.
It's always a fun day and we'll have some new wines for you try, including our our new release Italian varietals.
To make the event more enjoyable, a courtesy bus has been organised to transport guests to and from Seymour Station... just a MYKI train ride from Melbourne’s Southern Cross. Easy!
