2016 Shiraz

We had real fun making this delicious, spicy young Shiraz.

Some of the fruit was fermented as whole bunches, giving a little sass and funk to the final blend. Other parcels were fermented wild or trodden by foot. A little time in old French oak barrels and the result is a riot of silky ripe fruit with hints of pomegranate and a gentle tannin finish.

This is a wine designed to be drunk and enjoyed young with a spicy platter of Turkish mezze or a bowl of pasta with a tasty tomato sauce, cooked with love and shared with friends. Enjoy!
